United Real Estate Company, listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange, has obtained a license from the Ministry of Finance - State Property Contracts Department for the management, operation and maintenance of the waterfront property - Phase V (Marina World), for a period of 3 years starting from the date of signing.
The company explained that it is obliged under the license to pay a minimum annual revenue of the property to the Ministry of Finance in exchange for benefiting, by at least 30%, in accordance with the conditions and mechanism of calculation contained in the license, according to the company’s statement to the Kuwait Stock Exchange, on Wednesday.
United achieved a profit during the first half of 2026 of 3.11 million dinars compared to 4.43 million dinars in the same period of 2025
The expected financial impact will be the reflection of the license on its financial statements by proving the origin of the right to use and the rental obligation, as well as recording the property’s revenues and expenses over the period of the license, subject to the audit of the external auditor.
This is considered to be in line with the company’s disclosure issued on October 15, 2025 regarding its receipt of a letter from the Ministry of Finance stating that it will continue to manage, operate and maintain the waterfront project (Phase V) until the appropriate decision is issued by the State Property Committee on the project, which ensured the continuation of rental revenues during that period.
It is noteworthy that "United" achieved a profit during the first half of 2026 of 3.11 million dinars, compared to 4.43 million dinars in the same period last year, an annual decline of 29.67%.
