The value of real estate sales in Qatar recorded a value of 15.6% during the week from 11 to 17 October 2026 about 696.5 million riyals, despite the decline in the number of sales deals by 7.1% on a weekly basis to 131 contracts, and on an annual basis, the value of sales decreased by 12.3%, while the number of contracts decreased by 11.5% compared to the same week in 2025, according to data from the General Authority for Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqdar), on Sunday.
The villas had topped the value of sales by about 197.6 million riyals, representing 28.4% of the total, followed by space land with a value of 190.5 million riyals, and residential units by about 162.8 million riyals, while the value of sales of other types amounted to 145.6 million riyals, and Al-Dha’ain Municipality came at the forefront of real estate transactions worth 239.5 million riyals, followed by the Municipality of Doha with about 209.3 million riyals, and then Al-Rayyan Municipality with a value of 170.9 million riyals.
In mortgage activity, the total value of mortgages increased by 652.2% on a weekly basis to SAR 861.7 million, despite the decline in the number of contracts by 33.3% to 18 contracts. On an annual basis, the value of mortgages decreased by 36.7% and the number of contracts by 14.3%, and Al Rayyan Municipality topped the value of mortgages by about 749 million riyals, followed by Al-Dha’ain Municipality with 78 million riyals, and Doha Municipality with about 19 million riyals.
