The General Authority for Real Estate in Saudi Arabia announced the start of the in-kind registration of the property for 84 thousand and 177 real estate plots in the areas of Riyadh, Qassim, Mecca and Medina, from Sunday, October 18, 2026, until the end of Thursday, January 21, 2027.
The new phase includes 34 thousand and 3 real estate plots in the Riyadh region, 25 thousand and 72 pieces in the Qassim region, 12 thousand and 116 pieces in the Mecca region, in addition to 12 thousand and 986 real estate plots in the Medina region.
Registration works in Riyadh region include a number of neighborhoods and plans in Al-Budaie, including a plan for 794 and a number of real estate plots
34 thousand real estate in Riyadh
The Authority explained that the registration work in the Riyadh region includes a number of neighborhoods and plans in Al-Budaie, including the 794 plan and a number of real estate plots, in addition to Al-Jala and Tabrak, where the registration includes the plans Nos. 0941, 0832, 1209, 0824, 1141 and a number of real estate plots.
Registration for the fire also includes part of Al-Waha neighborhood, Al-Zaniya neighborhood, parts of Al-Mufaijer neighborhood, Al-Rabeeh neighborhood, and part of Al-Falah neighborhood, in addition to a number of real estate plots, while registration in Al-Hassa includes a 331 plan neighborhood and a number of real estate plots.
In Al-Hilweh, the phase includes Al-Hilweh neighborhood, part of Al-Khuzama neighborhood, Al-Quwaya neighborhood, in addition to a number of real estate plots, while registration in Al-Ruwaida includes Al-Muruj, King Abdullah, Al-Faiha, Al-Masif, Al-Rayan, Al-Shifa, Al-Shifa, Al-Shayya, King Abdulaziz, Jerusalem, Al-Alia, and Al-Waha, in addition to a number of real estate pieces.
In Tamir, registration begins in the neighborhoods of Al-Taawon, Al-Nafal, Al-Murooj, Al-Watan, Al-Falah, Al-Khaleej Valley, Khalidiya, Al-Aziziyah, Al-Maarif, Al-Faisalyya, Industrial, and Al-Yasmin, as well as a number of real estate plots.
In the Qassim region, registration begins in the province of Nabhaniyya, and includes the neighborhoods of Granada, Ennahda, Al-Awqaf, Al-Bilad and Al-Rehab
The registration also includes the neighborhood of Burq al-Khail in Halban, part of the neighborhood of Al-Yasmin, and part of the neighborhood of Tadhamon, and the neighborhood of Al-Bahara in Houtat Bani Tamim, in addition to the neighborhood of Al-Worod and part of the neighborhood of Al-Yasmin in Arwa, in addition to a number of real estate plots.
The registration also extends to a number of real estate plots in the governorates of Artawiya, Al-Bajadiyah, Al-Jamsh, Al-Kharj, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Qasab, Al-Majmaah, Al-Muzahmiyah, Thaddiq, Harimala, Hawtat Sudair, Ramah, Rawda Sudair, Sajer, Dharma, Afif, Nafi and Wadi Al-Dawasir.
Qassim enters the new phase
In the Qassim region, registration begins in the province of Nabhaniyya, and includes the neighborhoods of Granada, Ennahda, Al-Aqf, Al-Bilad, Al-Rehab, and a number of real estate plots.
Registration in Al-Fawwarah includes Al-Rayyan, Al-Nahda, Al-Muntazah, Al-Salam, Al-Deira, and Al-Muruj, in addition to a number of real estate plots, while in Aqla Al-Saqr, King Fahd neighborhood, Al-Khaleej neighborhood, and part of Al-Nahda neighborhood, Al-Rayan neighborhood, along with a number of real estate plots.
The registration works also include a number of real estate plots in the governorates of Dulaymiyah, Al-Dhahiriyah, Dhariya, Abanat, Qasr bin Aqeel, Al-Ammar, Al-Mutlaib, Al-Qawara and Al-Badia.
Registration of real estate in Mecca
In the Mecca region, registration in Al-Jamoum governorate includes parts of the neighborhoods of Ain Shams, Al-Ghaziyat, Al-Nakheel and Al-Naqeel, while in Rabigh governorate, Al-Basateen, Al-Naim, Al-Safa, Al-Marwa and Al-Ma'ara, as well as a number of real estate plots.
Registration in Thuwal also includes a part of a government neighborhood and a number of real estate plots.
In the Medina region, registration begins in Khyber Governorate, and includes the neighborhoods of Laayoune, Al-Wadi, Al-Nakheel, Al-Rawda, and Al-Nahda
Khyber and Yanbu within the scope of registration
In the area of Medina, registration begins in the province of Khyber, and includes the neighborhoods of Laayoune, the valley, the palms, the kindergarten, the Renaissance, and parts of the neighborhood of Al-Safq Al-Ahmar, in addition to the neighborhoods of Al-Tulaa, Al-Faisaliya, Al-Aziziyah, and part of the neighborhood of Sultana, and the neighborhood of Al-Ghawwa, and a number of real estate plots.
Registration in Yanbu governorate includes Al-Aziziyah, Al-Ramal, and the industrial zone, as well as a number of real estate plots.
Registration Conditions and the mechanism of issuing a "real estate number"
The Authority confirmed that the selection of the regions, governorates and neighborhoods covered by the registration came according to specific criteria, pointing out that it will be announced successively for the rest of the regions and neighborhoods that will be included in the work of in-kind registration of the property in various regions of the Kingdom during the coming periods.
The Real Estate Authority pointed out that the first registration of real estate in the specified areas and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic land registry platform or through service centers, explaining that the completion of the registration process requires a title deed that meets the statutory requirements.
The Authority called on real estate owners in the covered areas and neighborhoods to verify the title deeds and meet the required requirements in preparation for the start of registration, explaining the possibility of inquiring about the procedures and steps through the official platforms of the Authority or through the Customer Service Center.
As of the date set for the start of registration, it is planned to issue a “real estate number” and a title deed for each real estate unit that is registered, provided that the instrument includes the property’s data, descriptions, status and associated rights and obligations, in addition to accurate geospatial information.
The real estate registration system aims to enhance the reliability of real estate data and raise the level of transparency in the market, as well as support the infrastructure of the real estate sector and contribute to its sustainability.
