The Saudi General Authority for Real Estate revealed the start of in-kind registration of (26,858) real estate in the Mecca region, starting from Sunday, October 11, 2026, corresponding to 29 Rabiul Awwal 1448H, until the end of Thursday, January 14, 2027, corresponding to 5 Rajab 1448 AH, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Real Estate Authority pointed out that the selection of neighborhoods was made according to specific criteria, and will be announced successively for the rest of the regions, governorates and neighborhoods that will be subject to the in-kind registration of real estate in various regions of the Kingdom during the coming periods, indicating that the first registration of real estate in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic land registry platform https://rer.sa, or through service centers, noting that in-kind registration requires a title deed that meets the regulatory requirements to complete the registration process.
The Authority has invited real estate owners in the areas and neighborhoods subject to in-kind registration to verify the title deed of the property, and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, and can inquire about the steps of registration through the official platforms of the Authority or by calling the Customer Service Center 199002.
From the date set for the start of registration, a “real estate number” will be issued and a title deed for each real estate unit that is registered. The title registration instrument will include the real estate data, descriptions, status and subsequent rights and obligations related to accurate geospatial information, which will contribute to enhancing the infrastructure and sustainability of the real estate sector.
