Al Hamra Real Estate Company has received two gold awards at the 2026 GCC Health, Safety and Environment Excellence Awards (ASSP GCC HSE Excellence Awards 2026), a well-established regional programme established and organized by the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), in an important milestone for the company in its first participation in the Regional Awards Program.
This recognition is a reflection of the company’s continuous efforts in developing the health, safety and environment management system, and the application of professional standards in its various operational processes, in order to enhance the efficiency of facilities management, and consolidate the culture of prevention, risk management and environmental responsibility, and ensure the provision of a safe and sustainable environment for workers, tenants and visitors. The company received the gold award in the “Utilities and Maintenance” category, in addition to the gold award in the “Health, Safety and Environment Initiatives” category, during the award ceremony held at the Regency Hotel in Kuwait on October 5, 2026.
This honoring came after an organized, evidence-based evaluation process within the framework of the ASSP GCC Awards for Excellence in Health, Safety and Environment, reflecting the rigorous evaluation criteria set by the Regional Awards Program. In this context, Al Hamra’s participation in the facilities and maintenance category was evaluated for a comprehensive evaluation of 15 key axes, including health, safety and environment management systems, risk management, operational controls, adherence to professional standards, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
The Gold Award for Health, Safety and Environment Initiatives was the result of an evaluation of five main themes, which focused on initiatives to enhance employee participation, raise awareness, establish safe work practices, and develop environmental performance within the company’s various facilities.
The two awards reflect the integration of efforts between the executive management and the work teams in Al Hamra, in cooperation with the Facilities Management Services Provider (FMSP) and contractors, in the application of an integrated operational system based on prevention, readiness and adherence to professional standards, commensurate with the nature and size of the real estate facilities managed by the company.
