The seventh edition of the “Son of Your Home” exhibition, which was organized over three days in Qatar, concluded with the attraction of a record number of visitors exceeding 16 thousand repeat visitors, according to the Qatar News Agency (QNA).
Next Fairs, the organizer of the exhibition, confirmed that the seventh edition witnessed the participation of more than 250 exhibitors, while the exhibition pavilions and equipment implemented by the organizers and exhibitors extended over an area of 15 thousand square meters, and the exhibition witnessed the announcement of new initiatives in the sector, most notably the launch of Qatar Post, the service "My Box", which provides smart boxes that allow the receipt of parcels in a safe and flexible manner.
The company pointed out that “this record turnout reflects the growing importance of Ibn Baytak as a leading platform to enhance communication between Qatari national homeowners and specialized companies, and to provide the opportunity to benefit from specialized expertise and explore business opportunities.
An integrated platform that connects the construction and residential design sector with Qatari citizens wishing to build their homes
The conference, which was held in partnership with the Qatar Society of Engineers, was also a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience with the participation of a group of engineers, experts and specialists.
The Qatar Architecture Award discussion, along with specialized sessions, provided homeowners with practical guidance and integrated information on residential construction, renovation, decoration and design, and legal and administrative procedures related to home construction, which enhance their ability to make informed decisions and transform their aspirations into residential projects that combine quality, sustainability and architectural identity.
Launched in 2020, Ibn Baytak has evolved into an integrated platform linking the construction and residential design sector in the State of Qatar with Qatari citizens wishing to build, renovate or improve their homes. The exhibition combines products, services, professional expertise and knowledge related to the various stages of the residential construction process, which contributes to supporting more informed decision-making and strengthening the links between homeowners and workers in this sector.
