Dubai United Arab Emirates
Dubai Land Department (DLD) will showcase four dedicated real estate services for people of determination, including remote property management, personal assistance in the completion of real estate transactions, mobile field services, and digital support, during its participation in Expo 2026, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 19 to 21 October.
The services are part of the “Barwa” initiative, which aims to facilitate the access of people of determination to real estate services, and provide multiple options for completing their transactions and managing their property, commensurate with their different needs.
The Department participates in the eighth edition of the exhibition with a set of digital initiatives and solutions aimed at people of determination, senior citizens and their families, with the aim of facilitating access to real estate services and information and enhancing the independence of beneficiaries.
Barwa Initiative
The Barwa initiative includes four integrated services, which the department displays through interactive screens in its pavilion at the exhibition.
It includes the service of «Karrani», a personal assistant who follows up the real estate procedures and provides advice and support to the beneficiaries during the various stages of their real estate transactions.
The Kitop service allows people of determination to manage their real estate properties remotely through a digital platform that uses technologies that take into account their needs, making it easier to follow up on their real estate affairs without the need for a personal presence.
Al-Tarish provides field real estate services through mobile units that reach the beneficiaries, while the Messenger service allows remote support and assistance through a digital team working through the call center to respond to the queries and needs of the beneficiaries.
Digital services for visual and hearing impairments
Dubai Land Department (DLD) will display an interactive screen designed to meet the needs of people of determination from different categories of disabilities, including visual and hearing disabilities.
The screen provides multiple means of interaction, including touch, voice guidance and simplified instructions, to enable visitors to learn about real estate services and information in a way that suits their needs.
The Department’s pavilion also includes a dedicated screen to introduce current and future initiatives and activities aimed at people of determination, with registration available to participate in them.
