Moroccan construction company Jet Contractors has secured a 437.575 million Moroccan dirham ($44.5 million) contract to build five railway stations along the Benguerir–Marrakech corridor as part of the Kenitra–Marrakech high-speed rail project.
The contract, awarded by Morocco's National Railway Office (ONCF), covers one high-speed rail (LGV) station and four regional express rail (RER) stations, local news website Rue20 reported. It said the company was previously awarded five stations on the Kenitra–Marrakech line.
These contracts form part of ONCF's wider programme to expand and modernise Morocco's railway network ahead of the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
