Norwegian star Erling Haaland, the striker of Manchester City English Club, has bought a 5-bedroom villa in the Manchester City Yas Residences by Ohana project in Abu Dhabi, coinciding with the launch of the second phase of the real estate project developed by Ohana Developments with a total declared value of about $4.08 billion (15 billion dirhams).
The company announced the launch of a new set of residential townhouses and villas in the second phase, with sales starting on October 19, 2026, with an average price of about $1.02 million (AED 3.75 million) for two-bedroom townhouses.
The company did not disclose the value of the villa purchased by Haaland or its area, and did not announce the prices of the rest of the categories of housing units offered in the new phase.
Prices of Villas and Townhouses in Manchester City Yas Residences
The second phase of the Manchester City Yas Residences project includes two- and three-bedroom townhouses, a duplex villa, and four- or five-bedroom standalone villas.
The areas of the offered housing units range from 1938 to 4887 square feet, while the average price of two-bedroom townhouses is $1.02 million (3.75 million dirhams).
The advertised price is average for this unit category, not an initial price for all properties available in the project.
Project location, number of units and delivery time
Located on the Yas Canal along Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, Manchester City Yas Residences is located on the Yas Canal in Abu Dhabi, spanning an area of approximately 1.67 million square meters and boasting more than 2,000 residential units.
According to Ohanna Developments, construction has begun on the project, which it describes as the first Manchester City-branded residential community in the world and is scheduled to be delivered in phases by 2029.
The project includes sports facilities and wellness facilities, as well as residential units, as part of a developmental concept related to the sporting identity of the English club.
In September 2026, the company announced the start of construction work for the project and the opening of a dedicated center to present its details to buyers and investors.
