Dubai Retail, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding Asset Management, has unveiled the new Skylight Mall shopping mall project in Dubai, which is scheduled to open in 2027 and features more than 360 stores on a total lease area of 1.3 million square feet.
The new mall is located on Al Khail Road in Dubai, close to a number of residential areas, including the Jumeirah Village Triangle, Jumeirah Islands and Springs, offering a range of retail stores, restaurants, recreational facilities and daily services.
With the opening of Skylight Mall, the number of shopping malls, commercial and leisure destinations within Dubai Retail’s portfolio will increase to 58 destinations across the emirate.

Skylight Mall is located on Al Khail Street, one of Dubai’s main traffic hubs, near the Jumeirah Village Triangle, Jumeirah Village Triangle, Jumeirah Islands Islands and The Springs.
The site provides access to the mall from neighboring residential complexes, while the project aims to provide shopping options, restaurants, entertainment and daily services to residents and visitors to these areas.
In announcing the company, the company did not specify a detailed date for the opening during 2027, or the exact location of the project on Al-Khail Street.
Skylight Mall and the number of stores
Skylight Mall extends over a total rental area of 1.3 million square feet, equivalent to about 120.8 thousand square meters, and will include more than 360 stores, along with restaurants, entertainment destinations and daily services.
The project adopts a contemporary architectural design that connects shopping, restaurant and entertainment areas with spaces for gatherings and social activities, allowing visitors to move between different facilities within a single commercial center.
Dubai Retail did not disclose the investment cost of the project, or the brand names and tenants who will occupy the commercial space, nor did it disclose details on the spaces allocated to retail stores, restaurants and recreational facilities.
